Eau de Forêt by Ruben Maria

In collaboration with the Soeder company, artist Ruben Maria Pfanner has developed a room scent for his sculptures Duftbäume und Baumfragmente (Scented Trees and Tree Fragments, 2019), which is based on the smell of the European primeval forest. The Bialowieza primeval forest on the Polish-Belarusian border, one of the last remaining primeval forests in the temperate zones of Europe, serves as the imaginary reference. In many ways, this collaboration connects Soeder's corporate philosophy with the artist's core themes.
The fragrance is the artist's first collaboration with the Soeder company. They got to know each other through the direct vicinity of the artist's studio and the soap factory of the company in Schwerzenbach
