the animation on the screen is almost invisible.
the newly formed shadow flickers very slightly.
the work is a response to a discussion about the merging of shadows. after playing with the light source, j. remarked that it would be desirable if the shadows drew a straight line across the wall and floor. a suggestion of the effect of conway and kochen's "free will theorem".
